Further, offer-in-compromise applications are mostly handled in two centralized locations in Memphis, TN and in Holtsville, NY. Audits/Examination and Appeals can be transferred to the Los Angeles area, if needed. Accounts in Automated Collection System (ACS) are spread out throughout the United States and are handled over the telephone or through written correspondence.
